6 New Things to do in Dubai for the long weekend

1. Dubai Canal

The Dubai canal has finally opened its doors to the public and I am already drooling over the Instagram shots of so many Dubai explorers around. Definitely the talk of the town, this latest attraction is something I really want to go to soon.

Check out this video shared by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, in his Instagram post.

This area has a 12 KM long cycle track, 3 KM long jogging track and 6 KM of walkway.

2. Green Planet

A tropical rain forest in the middle of the desert? Yes! And who in UAE wouldn’t want to see this region’s first bio-dome recreating the enchanting world of a tropical forest with its rich bio-diversity?

Entry tickets priced at AED 95 for adults and AED 70 for children between 3 to 12-year-old, I am definitely going to be visiting this newly opened place in City Walk Dubai.

3. Legoland

A part of the Super mega project – Dubai Parks and Resorts, Legoland has now opened its gates to the public. If you have little Lego lovers at home, you definitely need to take them. Read this detailed review on Babyglobetrotters.com for all the details – Is it worth visiting Legoland Dubai yet?

We can't get enough of @legolanddubai Miniland. ••• •• Kids took the media badge seriously and examined each LEGO structure while the littlest of them all (not in the photo) moved from one structure to another. ••• •• If you're planning to visit LEGOLAND Dubai this weekend make sure you read @babyglobetrotters recent post for some inside scoop on what to expect. I will post kids video soon. ••• •• • …. #UAEBloggers #UAEMomBloggers #MomBlogger #MumBlogger #FamilyBlog #MumsInDubai #DubaiMom #DubaiMum #UAEMoms #CnCTravelDiary #Legoland #LegolandDubai #ExpatFamily #CuddlesAndCrumbs #MyDubai #IGMoms #IGersDubai #MomsOfInstagram #mkbkids #dubaitravel #travelingtots #fromwhereIstand #mytinyatlas #exploremore

4. Outlet Village

I always fall head over heels for all the good architecture I get to see. And if it has a classic touch of the medieval era, you definitely got me. OutLet Village is a new shopping destination for all fashion lovers, situated very near to the Dubai Parks and Resorts between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I am totally in love with the interiors inspired by the medieval Italian hill town of San Gimignano and UNESCO World Heritage site located in Tuscany.

5. Bollywood Parks

Bollywood Parks™ Dubai, is a first-of-its-kind theme park that showcases rides and attractions based on some of Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters. After LegoLand, this new attraction is also a part of the Dubai Parks and Resorts Project.

6. The Last Exit

Another one of my favorite. Situated right between Abu Dhabi – Dubai highway, this place is a great place to take a break from the long drive. More than the food from the Food Trucks, I thoroughly enjoyed the way this area has been set up. Every element of design is inspired by the vehicles, including the wash basins and the doors in the washroom.

With the winters on the door-step, and the holidays and the National Day holidays coming up, the mood is just right for the perfect days out! What are your plans for the coming weekends and holidays? Do let me know your plans 🙂 If you are flying out for the holidays and have toddlers and babies, don’t forget to check these out:
